About me

My name is Nevi Poula and I have been living in Spain for the past 14 years. I am UK- trained psychologist and I have over 18 years of experience in Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and School Psychology.

Having grown up and lived in many different countries and cultures, I have had the opportunity to develop a much broader
understanding of diverse ways of thinking, behaving and individual differences.

I have an outgoing personality with excellent rapport building
skills. I have a strong background in positively encouraging and
motivating children and adults to ensure that they can reach their full potential and lead a healthier life. Moreover, my priority and promise to you is full confidentiality, as well as providing a safe space for our collaboration that is non-judgmental.

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

CBT is a flexible form of psychological treatment that can help with anxiety, depression, and a wide range of other difficulties.

In CBT we work within a structured context and with a limited number of sessions. However, it is necessary to mention that the number off sessions will always depend on each individual’s needs. We combine CBT with other therapy methods and always try to adapt to the needs of every single person.

CBT helps you to become aware of any incorrect and/or negative thinking patterns. As a result, you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective and adequate way.
